United Bamboo

United Bamboo is a label and a lifestyle. Launched in 1998 and now expanded into a cultural project, United Bamboo has established itself as a pioneer in fashion design and creative collaboration with downtown artists, curators and musicians under the direction of Miho Aoki and Thuy Pham. Multidimensional in scope, and focused on fostering the new and experimental, United Bamboo provocatively plays on and reinterprets the All-American style. They achieve this by implementing innovative pattern making techniques and subtle juxtapositions that turn the notion of preppy on its head.
