Steven Alan

Steven Alan, a native New Yorker, has been immersed in fashion and retail since childhood. After opening his eponymous store in Manhattan, Steven started his own collection, which like the rest of his company has been an evolution. In buying menswear for his stores, Steven could not find what he was looking for – the perfect men’s shirt. So he decided to make them himself. He handpicks limited edition fine cotton fabrics from Italy and Japan, and focuses on fit. The shirts are fitted “properly”, with subtle design elements which give them their individuality. Each shirt is washed and treated to create its own distinct worn-in kind of “fashionably disheveled” feel. The shirts are often seen as collectibles due to the fact that the fabrics change every few months.
