Phillip Lim launched 3.1 Phillip Lim in the fall of 2005 to instant critical and commercial success. Lim creates beautiful clothes with a touch of inspired madness that strive towards a subtle imperfection. The result is a collection of individual looks that are unplanned but completely relevant. For Lim, the design process begins by absorbing shapes, colors, and textures from his surroundings and personal experiences. He then marries them with luxurious fabrics: sheer jersey, tissue-weight cashmere, washed silk. Unexpected details like hand stitching and homemade accents add dimension, richness, and life to each piece.

Sara Moffat, Teo Griscom and Riley Salyards assumed their grandfathers’ names for their womenswear line jackson, johnston and roe. The childhood friends draw from each of their distinctive artistic disciplines to create small handsome collections made in New York City. With an emphasis on fine fabrics, construction and detail, the line continues to be classic and versatile.

Designed by Lily Raskind, Sunshine & Shadow has been attracting attention from selective buyers since launching in 2005. Based in Brooklyn, Raskind graduated with a BFA in Textile Design from the Rhode Island School of Design. Her line takes an updated and fresh approach to cuts and materials, paying great attention to combining fabrics, printing, dyeing, and other creative finishing treatments. Lending a feminine touch to silhouettes inspired by athletic wear, street style, and menswear, Sunshine & Shadow's designs are wearable everyday clothes with special and unusual details.
